By becoming a certified HTR provider you can teach the HTR system and advise clients individually and in groups.
Consisting of 6 modules:
Module 1: The Female Body, its systems, protective outputs and disorders
- Systems (nervous, endocrine, immune, fascia-muscular-skeletal)
- Cycles
- Stages
- The stress response: fight, flight, freeze, appease
- The pain response pain
- The inflammation, tiredness & fever response
- The adaptive thermogenesis response
- What are trauma, adverse childhood experiences and stress?
- How trauma, stress and ACEs disrupt the body: nervous system disorders, hormonal disorders, immune disorders, pain disorders and metabolic disorders
Module 2: The Energy Cultivation Class
- The theory behind mindful movement
- Taoist theory surrounding the Tan Tiens, meridians, and the fundamentals surrounding the Energy Cultivation class including contraindications and the exercises
Module 3: The tremor mechanism
- The tremor mechanism and how to integrate it into exercise
- The tremor mechanism – the science behind it according to Western Neurophysiology and Dr. Stephen Porges PolyVagal theory
- Contraindications
- Safety, sentience & grounding – including the breath
- How to teach it
Module 4: Neurogenic Yin
- Yin & yang philosophy
- Stretch
- Yin – asanas, contraindications, modifications
- Neurogenic Yin
- How to teach it
Module 5:
- Strength and stretch – the fundamentals, contraindications, modifications
- How to teach it
Module 6:
- Practice leading your fellow students through classes
- The difference between teaching individuals and groups
- Pricing recommendations and timelines
Coursework involves teaching groups and individuals each class and how to support them in their journey.
You have to submit a diary of your personal journey over the period of 3 months doing the HTR system – diarising your symptoms and the difference in how you feel.
